Windows7 Compatibility

Summary

Braille2000 is fully compatible with WindowsVISTA and Windows7, both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of the operating system. This includes 64-bit support for embossing and for the Braille2000 blue USB Key (a custom USB device requiring a driver not shipped with Windows).

ED-IT PC will not install on Windows7.  On some computers, with some versions of Windows7, you can install the "XP Compatibility Mode" and then install and run ED-IT PC on Windows7, but professional help is required to configure things properly.  Click here for more information related to ED-IT PC (ED-IT PC is now considered obsolete).
